This is a Mercury factory color matched Phantom Black for all black Mercury Outboards any model.
This kit will produce 1 Pint of base coat and 1 Pint of clear coat. All of our kits allow for the user to mix up ALL, or only the amount of material needed for the particular job, leaving material for future projects or touch ups.
Kit includes: base coat, clear coat, hardener, reducer, and mixing instructions.
This kit will provide you with enough paint to refinish one upper cowling, or one lower cowling, or mid section skirts of a Phantom black 1st or 2nd generation verado (up to a 400hp) with proper paint management.
- 1st generation verados 300 350 and 400r.
- 2nd generation verados 200 225 250 300.
These products may be sprayed using an aerosol sprayer (Preval Sprayer), which can be purchased on Amazon or on Prevals Website for under $5.00 , and has proven to deliver good results OR it can be sprayed using an HVLP (High Pressure, Low Volume) Gravity cup style spray gun powered by a compressor for best results. HVLP guns can be purchased for under $40.00 on Amazon or local stores like Harbor Freight or Northern Tool.
